This week on Veterans Radio we welcome William Vollano local representative from theVeterans History Project and World War II veteran John Anderson.The Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center collects, preserves, and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war.John Anderson was training to be a bomber pilot when the Army ended its enlisted pilot training program and he became a B-17 waist gunner who flew 22 missions over Germany during World War II
